Unsung Is Back!
Hey everyone!
I just wanted to let you know that "Unsung" is back this Sunday on TV One at 8pm & 11pm EST. First up is Teena Marie, followed by Bootsy Collins on Nov. 8th (first episode I produced!), then Klymaxx and Zapp & Roger. These four episodes are some of the best of the series so far (in my opinion). I hope you'll get out some popcorn or whatever your snack of choice and tune in the next four Sundays in November or set your DVR, whatever works for you. I'm sure you will not be disappointed! This series has been getting a great response which has thankfully led to a third season coming next year. So viewership is important.
Check out TV One online for previews of the episodes and more information:

Nov. 1 - Teena Marie
Nov. 8 - Bootsy Collins
Nov. 15 - Klymaxx
Nov. 22 - Zapp
Hope you'll tune in and, as usual, feel free to share your thoughts.
Sade :)

NEW EXCLUSIVE FREE ALBUM DOWNLOAD FROM THE FINE FOLKS AT DUMHI!

CLICK HERE FOR REAL HIP HOP!!!
Wait, it’s not October 15th yet? Oh well, here is Dumhi’s Indian Summer, a day earlier than expected! With appearances from cats like Donwill (Tanya Morgan), Che Grand, Al Mighty (MAGR), Shameless Plug, Jermiside, Flud, Mash Comp, Random, and more, this is bound to be a classic free release. To be honest, this kicks a lot of the free projects that are out right now to the curb. If you aren’t familiar with the work of Dumhi, I highly suggest you catch up and cop all the past releases. And if you need some additional convincing, check out the leaks from last week. I am sure that will diminsh any skeptism that you may have had. Special props goes to Objektiv One for providing some of the most beautiful artwork I have seen in quite some time. Check out the EP and share some thoughts after the skip!
BREAKING NEWS!!! HIP HOP, WE LOST MR. MAGIC...

Mr. Magic, an important figure in the world of hip-hop radio, debuted in 1983 on WBLS-FM in New York City with the first exclusive rap radio show to be aired on a major station. Billing itself as Rap Attack, Magic's show featured Marley Marl as the DJ and Tyrone "Fly Ty" Williams as the show's co-producer. Magic's reign on the New york City airwaves lasted six years and was instrumental in broadening the scope and validity of hip-hop music.[1]
During the mid-80s there was a rivalry between Mr. Magic and Kool DJ Red Alert, who hosted a weekly show on WRKS-FM. The feud also played out between proxy rap groups, the Juice Crew and Boogie Down Productions (see The Bridge Wars). The Juice Crew - headed by Mr. Magic's on-air assistant, DJ Marley Marl - was named after one of Magic's aliases, "Sir Juice."[2]
IF YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT MR. MAGIC... JUST THINK ABOUT THIS, IF IT WEREN'T FOR HIM...YOUR FAVORITE HIP HOP STATION WOULD NOT HAVE EXISTED.
REST IN BEAUTIFUL PEACE....
