- When did you fall in love with Hip Hop?
- I fall in love with since i was a little kid, and that true story. i felt in love with hip pop from where i was borned and raised in Monrovia, Liberia. A country on the West-Coast of Africa. I was young at that time but already seen and done almost half of those things that a childhood wasnt supposed to experienced. I started learning how to composed lyrics at the age of 13 to 14yrs. At that time i was fully equiped to compose my own lyrics, so i decided to upgrade my writting lyrics skill, and vocal skill by listening to couple of American artists. like Nelly, 2pac, Notorious BIG, Snoop, Busta Rythme, Wyclef, Usher and Sisqo. By doing this suggestion, i quickly learn how to position my voice for recording vocal, study the drops, in the instrument and created my own style after i master these skills. And for composing lyrics skills, i learned it by listening to their songs while it plays and i stop it at least after every four bars and write down the lyrics . Before i could know it i was composing my own lyrics and rapping it to friends. I alway knew Hip pop or music was part of me, but because of the poor facility and no body to motivate me or support me like how in America is lot of equipement, like Software, mixer, recording mics internet opportunity because i didnt have those resources to keep me up to date i didnt put my hundered percent into it but alway knew that someday i will accomplished it. And lucky for me, GOD bless me and give me the opportunity to travel to America, on the 2 of November 2002 same year 50 cent won the year Best Artist Of The Year Award. I live in Maryland for about a year, where i decided to continue my music career where i left off. While in that process i met a guy call Galama Duncan, AKA G-man he was also an African, from the same Native Country Liberia. And luckly he was interested in the same thing that i been trying to accomplished, so i talk to him about my ideals and he was feeling them and agreed to found a two men group. As i recall we used to go to his crib in the parking lot insert the beats and just flow to it. But neverthless, on the other hand I had bigger dreams about this music things. and been that G-man been in America for a long time and ima new comer, so he knew the contact to a recording studio. but i was serious about this and wasnt playing, so i got the number from him contact the owner/producer Bill walkman. And he told me to meet him at the studio, which of course i did and my first visit at the studio i came back home wit a good freestyle tracks, and after that it was a subseqently process. I was so motivated, serious and inspired that i have finally found what i been looking for and that is someone to motivate me and the right tools for this job. I was so happy and into taking this to the next level and accomplishing this dream, that it urge me to used my school text book that i mistaking lost money that i was to used to pay back for the missing book, and purposely brought me an instrument. After 1yr later i had to move out of Maryland, due to family moving from one state to another. And i Move to Bensalem, PA. where i met another group of Africans, and lot of people with different race. And being that i was African so i connected with African first and not cuz i wouldnt connect with other race but cuz they understood me than anybody else bucause at that tim my Grammers wasnt up to standard as fast as understanding me well like present. my ascent was thicker than blood. so i was put in a circle with other African and a black American rappers while somebody rap after the other. and just like that it was my turn which of course i did my thing, and surprisingly they was feeling me and ask me to join their call LIB, which stand for the short way for spelling my hometown name LIBERIA. and i did join the group and since than i my game been stepping up and up. and Now Im one of Lib top rapper and im also the group number1 producer as this present movement.
